Any information that you provide to us or that we record as a result of you contacting us is kept only for the purpose of contacting you in relation to any enquiry or business you do with us.

You may at anytime contact us and request that we remove any information held by us about you. From time to time we will send you emails advising you of special offers or promotions, or other news about Rage Data Computer Services. On each email there will be an unsubscribe link which will allow you to remove yourself from our databases. Please note we may be required by law to retain information held in connection with a transaction that has taken place between us (where Rage Data Computer Services has provided goods, products parts or services to you, either directly or via our online shop at http://shopragedata.com). Notwithstanding our legal requirement to retain information, if you request to be removed form our contact databases, we will do so and not contact you again unless in relation to a transaction.

We do not condone Spam (unsolicited email) and do all we can to fight against it. We will not send you email without your permission, nor will we enable others to do so by sharing your address in anyway. Unfortunately, it is easy for spammers to forge email headers and make emails appaear to have come from other companies. If you receive unsolicted email puporting to be from Rage Data or any of its associated websites, please forward the email, including full headers to our Abuse email. We will do all we can to prevent reoccurences, however we have no control over the person sending spam or the ability to remove you from any email lists they may have added you to.

We provide a secure (https://) connection for you to enter your details on our online shop and our credit/debit card payments are currently handled securely by PayPal on our behalf. We never have sight of your Card details and do not hold any information relating to your cards. As with your email address, we will not pass on your address details to other parties, save for any occasion where we may direct deliver (drop ship) goods to you from our suppliers. We associate only with companies with a similar Privacy policy to ourselves so, while we are unable to guarantee the actions of our suppliers, we are confident that your privacy and details are safe with those suppliers. Should you have any concerns relating to us providing your details in order for one of our suppliers to fulfill an order, please make that clear in the comments area of the order. Please understand that if you do not wish us to drop ship in this way, we are unable to provide guarantees for delivery times.

We use SSL technology to secure your details on our shop. You should be aware that we issue our own SSL certificates purely for the purpose of providing secure connections. While this self-signing is perfectly acceptable and provides the same level of encryption/protection as a certificate from a Trusted Issuer, you should note that we are not a Trusted Issuer of SSL certificates and you should satisfy yourself as to the validity of our SSL certificates as they are not a guarantee to our identity. Most browsers will indicate a warning message when accessing secure areas of our site that we are not a Trusted Issuer.
